LATAnjali is a regular series on the Usenet newsgroup RMIM (Rec.Music.Indian.Misc), dedicated to the songs sung by Lata Mangeshkar. The series was originated by Anil Hingorani to serve a two-fold purpose: propagating the knowledge of Lata's songs and in the process, contributing to the ITRANS Song Book. The first article
on LATAnjali was posted by Anil on September 26, 1997, in remembrance of
Lata's sixty-eighth birthday.
