RMIM Thread

Starting with another favorite soundtrack of mine, this is a phenomenal duet. I don't know if duets get any better than this. The depth and intensity of emotions captured by the lyrics and conveyed by the two singers is unmatched. The composer himself sings this with Lata and does a great job. I have heard another duet by this pair from 'sajni', but that doesn't come close. 

The soundtrack of the 1951 film 'malti madhav' has not one, but two masterpieces. Besides today's duet, the other one is that outstanding Lata solo, which I will get to in a few weeks. Sudhir Phadke's talent is at display here with some great tunes. Also, the lyrics are very well written by the esteemed Pt. Narendra Sharma.
