Hrishi has picked yet another great Lata/Roshanlal song. I have to go back to what Vish said in the last RMIMeet tape about this song. According to him the lack of any embelishments by the singer in this song enhances the beauty of this song even more. Can't agree with him more. This songs brings out the beauty of Lata's pristine voice, her technical abilities and an awesome display of\ emoting. Roshanlal, very aptly, kept the orchestration at the bare minimum and let the singer's voice zone in on the lyrics and bring out the essence of what the lyricist was saying. One of the very best.......
