Continuing with the songs of 'raagrang', here's an excellent duet. Lata has two duets with Trilok Kapoor in this film. This is the better one. The other is quite a catchy tune too, and I will get to it in a couple of weeks. Trilok Kapoor has an average voice and a very limited range, but does quite well here. Young Lata sounds very sweet and alluring.  All of this translates into a great love song. They both must have made Roshanlal proud with their performance. 

Snehal Oza had picked this song for his ATMJH #9. Since I am a big fan of his series and the way he wrote about the songs/film, here is an extract from his post:

This film was produced by Geeta's brother. An excellent song this is. In fact all songs of the film are extra-ordinary. I have no hesitation to name this particular film as The Best of Roshan, ever. Yes, I will place even Naubahar, Chitralikha and Mamata on back seat.  BTW, this singer Trilok Kapoor is different from the Trilok Kapoor-the actor who used to be the favourite person for playing roles of Mahadev Shankar in many films based on mythology. Coming to song; it starts with very melodious prelude and then it's all
beautiful singing and lovely tunes all over.
