The Great Lady singing lyrics by Sahir composed by the Master is a very nice way of paying her a tribute on her 70th. birthday. Actually, Hrishi Dixit did all the work and I am just posting this, about a week and a half after he send this to me. I am sure he will not mind if I take some credit and say this is a tribute from the both of us to the greatest singer ever.

This happens to be my favorite song from this soundtrack. Songs like these were Lata's forte and she carries this one wonderfully. SDB's signature is all over this song.

Here's wishing her more success. Even though her voice might have abandoned her now, that voice [at it's peak] will remain the standard for all singers in HFM for ever.
