Here's a two-part mujra by Lata from Anil Biswas' grand "Char Dil Char Rahen". Immense thanks to Srinivas for locating the video for this film. Only the Mahendra Kapoor - Meena Kapoor (I think) duet "Oh Johnny Oh Stella" appears to be untraceable, absent from the video print. The care with which the present song has been crafted is evident in its overall design, appropriate and tasteful orchestration, and details such as the occasional recitation of lines for effect. Lata's artful execution of "maane" in a haunting, almost impossible cascade of notes (in the first line) is rivetting.
