A friend of mine, used to seeing Surendra or Durrani on my cassettes rather than Kishore Kumar, refused to believe that the beautiful male voice in the song is KK's. (He knows KK through R D Burman.) Each song by KK in the film
is a masterpiece. But whenever Lata enters this song, she just lifts it out of this world.
